Engineering the data infrastructure behind modern healthcare technology. Indiana University alumnus, building today in Chicago.
I'm a data engineer working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, designing the pipelines, platforms, and tooling that turn raw data into measurable business outcomes.
I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, where I competed as a varsity football and basketball athlete at Bloomington North High School. Those years instilled the principles I carry into every engagement today: disciplined preparation, accountability to the team, and the patience to let consistent execution compound over time.
That foundation carried me to Indiana University and, after graduation, into a data engineering role at AbbVie in Chicago. I now help build the systems supporting brand technology and healthcare innovation initiatives — designing platforms that scale reliably and deliver real impact for the business.
Outside of work, I'm a longtime Indiana sports fan, an active runner along the Chicago lakefront, and someone who genuinely enjoys the craft of writing clean, maintainable code.

Before the engineering career, athletics taught me the fundamentals that still shape how I work — preparation, accountability, and consistency under pressure.
I competed as a two-sport varsity athlete at Bloomington North High School — safety on the football field and a guard on the basketball court. Football, in particular, instilled the principles I still apply daily: read the situation, trust your preparation, communicate with your teammates, and execute every assignment.
The journey began in week four of freshman year, when I was promoted from the freshman team to the varsity roster as a wide receiver. I started several games as a freshman before splitting time between varsity and JV through the remainder of the season. Three full varsity campaigns followed, producing 221 career tackles and 10 interceptions on defense alongside 755 receiving yards and 9 total touchdowns on offense. State recognition arrived during my junior year. On the basketball side, I started two varsity seasons — 287 career points across 48 games — completing a year-round body of competitive work.
Athletics never fully leaves a competitor. The discipline simply takes on new forms: practice becomes code review, film study becomes technical documentation, and the scoreboard becomes a successful production deployment.
